• TN Domain Awareness System (TN-DAS): Creating a secure unified command grid linking traffic, city CCTV, and ANPR cameras with privacy protections in compliance with the DPDP Act 2023.

A 5-year investment plan totaling ₹3,750 Crore co-financed through the State Budget, Central ASUMP grants, Nirbhaya Funds, and tech PPP partnerships. Delivers ₹2,050–3,250 Crore in annual returns (2.7x to 4.3x ROI) through vehicle optimization, court backlog reduction, and improved tourism/investment perceptions.

4-Phase Implementation Timeline

• Phase 1: Foundation (Year 1 - ₹950 Cr): Launching the PMO under DGP office, deploying 12,000 body-worn cameras in 9 cities, CCTNS 2.0 integration, and upgrading 1,000 vehicles.
• Phase 2: Expansion (Year 2 - ₹850 Cr): Deploying 40,000 body cameras, 200 drones across 39 districts, FRS 2.0 compliance, and upgrading 2,000 vehicles.
• Phase 3: Integration (Year 3 - ₹700 Cr): Tamil Voice FIR auto-drafting go-live, full inter-agency database sync, and achieving 100% bodycam coverage.
• Phase 4: Optimization (Year 4-5 - ₹1,250 Cr): Autonomous drone corridors, completing fleet modernization, and achieving NYPD technology parity.
